Ann Marie is no longer finishing her pottery in an electric kiln. All work henceforth will be finished atmoshperic-fired in a soda or wood-fired kiln.
Serve all the Senses
Here's a small sampling of Ann Marie's hand-coiled pottery. Every coil is hand-rolled and placed piece-by-piece to create the desired form. There is no potter's wheel used in this process. These works are made from durable stoneware, and fired in an electric kiln to Cone 5/6 (approximately 2100 degrees). Ann Marie no longer finishes her work in an electric kiln, but these samples are still on view to show her progression as an artist.
